Naomi Mantley is registered with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association as student counsellor (#11245349) and is enrolled in the Master of Art in Counselling Psychology program at Yorkville University, with a completion date of mid-August 2023.  

Naomi first entered the helping profession in Nova Scotia, working in community services, and has acquired 2 years of experience working with youth and adults with developmental disabilities in Nova Scotia and Ontario. She also has 2 years of experience supporting health care workers experiencing crisis, trauma, and acquired disability in British Columbia.

Naomi believes in fostering authentic therapeutic relationships with clients and is passionate about helping clients to discover and build their strengths.

Approach

Naomi takes a person-centered and eclectic approach within a culturally responsive, and socially just framework, that focuses on empowering the client, and making their viewpoints central in therapy. Naomi is passionate about assisting clients to build upon their self-advocacy and strengths.
