Jae Yoo

For the past 15 years Jae has served as a counsellor for varied clients, working with adults and children. She is well-trained in evidence-based treatment methods and certified in a range of techniques. This allows Jae to tailor her approach to each individual’s unique strengths. Jae believes that everyone is expert in their own lives, and that her job is to support people to find their own answers to their problems, helping them remove the obstacles that prevent them from achieving their goals. Regardless of age , people face different problems. Some problems are common; others are more serious. Many people feel continually defeated by their lives, or isolated from the world. Jae create a safe psychological place for my clients and approach from a place of care and compassion, with the desire to really understand them. Every day, Jae learns from her clients and draw inspiration from their inner strength.Jae received her master’s degree in counselling psychology from the University of British Columbia and am a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (Member ID: 3112). Since completing her degree she has continued to train in new approaches and methods, staying current with the most recent psychological research.
