Are you feeling overwhelmed with anxious thoughts? Are you experiencing self-doubt and second-guessing yourself before making decisions? Are you feeling disconnected from others around you and yourself? Do you question whether you are a good parent, child, or partner? Do you push your needs aside to make sure you look after the needs of everyone else?

I’m glad that you are reaching out - the first step is always the hardest. Together, we will work through your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours and determine what matters the most in your life. Once we have established your goals, I will provide tools and strategies to help you start to regain control of your life.

I strongly believe that you are the expert of yourself and your situation, and that you have everything you need to heal and grow. We just need some help to tap into that again from time to time.

Approach

I have over 15 years of experience working as a Registered Social Worker in a range of settings, including child and adolescent mental health, long-term care, in-patient acute care, and outpatient mental health. I employ Solutions-Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). I blend various methods because therapy should not follow a one-size-fits-all model; instead, I favour tailoring the therapeutic approach to suit your unique concerns.

Specialization

Anxiety and Panic disorders, Depression, PTSD and Trauma, Family and Relationship Issues, Life Transitions and Stress.
