I want to empower you to handle existing issues and prepare you to overcome any future obstacles. I approach each of our meetings with compassion and encouragement. Together we will formulate solutions, cultivate new interests and work towards the change you are looking for. 

It’s very important to me to use a humanistic, holistic and truly authentic approach when I work with clients. I will always respect your unique wants and needs. This may mean we work to understand your thoughts and feelings, build new skills, practice mindfulness techniques and/or explore other strategies that will help you meet your goals.

A therapist brings their own personality into the office, so having a human, holistic, authentic approach is important to Rachel. Therefore, in practice, Rachel utilizes Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and Focusing-Oriented Therapy, while pulling concepts from Attachment Theory and Internal Family Systems Theory.
