Susana Diaz Bahamon (She, Her, Ella)

My background includes working with at-risk youth, teenagers, immigrants, and refugees. In addition, I have lived experience with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, baking, doing home repairs and spending time with Luna Maria, my beautiful cat.

Also, I am fluent in Spanish.


I graduated from Yorkville University, and I am registered as a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC). I have worked with clients experiencing life transitions, anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, substance use, and bipolar disorder. I enjoy working with teenagers, adults and families.


I use Person-centred, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Somatic Experiencing, Solution-Focused, Mindfulness and Meditation, Trauma-Informed approaches. I acknowledge that I am working on the unceded lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh)"
